Terms of service

This is a placeholder written by us, not by a lawyer. It will change before launch and should not be relied on yet. Last updated October 2026.

The service

Dialwyn gives your business Canadian phone numbers for calls, texts and voicemail, answered from the web app, the mobile app or your own cell. We can change or add features over time and will tell you about changes that matter.

Numbers are provided through our carrier partner and remain subject to Canadian telecom rules. We cannot promise a specific number will stay available before you buy it.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 and running or starting a business in Canada. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us right away if you think someone else has used them.

The owner of a business account is responsible for everyone they invite to it.

Using it well

Use your number for your own business. Do not send unsolicited marketing texts, spoof caller ID, harass anyone, or do anything that breaks Canada's anti-spam law or CRTC rules.

If you turn call recording on, callers hear a notice before the call connects. You are responsible for recording lawfully in every province you operate in.

We may suspend a number or an account that is being misused, and we will tell you why.

Billing

Each number costs $5 CAD a month, billed in advance. Usage is billed at the rates on the pricing page at the end of each month. Prices are before tax.

If a payment fails we retry and warn you for 7 days. After that, outgoing calls and texts pause while incoming ones keep working. A number still unpaid after 30 days is released and may be given to someone else.

You can release a number or close your account at any time from the app. We do not refund partial months.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Dialwyn up, but phone networks and our providers sometimes fail. Dialwyn is not a replacement for emergency services and may not support 911 the way a landline does.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the problem.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. We will email you about changes that affect your rights at least 30 days before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and Canada.
